Living Nativity

The Pro Loco " Rimettiamoci Together of Mugnano del Cardinale" organizes the 5th edition of the Living Nativity.

The representation is divided into nineteen scenes, distributed in the historic center of the town next to the Parish of the Ascension, with the participation of about one hundred figures, in period costume. The visitor, crossing the narrow streets of the historical center of Mugnano del Cardinale, encounters suggestive "environmental reconstructions", where the extras give a sample of their skill.

Since some of these trades have now become very rare (if not disappeared!), The event has a high cultural value. In addition, in the path of the crib in addition to the figures there will be many farmyard and working animals that together with the ox and the donkey that will warm the Baby Jesus, will be the joy of the little ones.

The suggestive walk through the narrow streets of the historic center, illuminated with torches, represents an ideal "dislocation" of the classic Neapolitan nativity scene.
